Default Ruger M77 Value

Does anyone know approximate value for a ~1975 Ruger M77 30-06 in very good shape? I’ve no idea where to start.

There is one on gunnutz for $550. A .270 with scope for $675. If you don't have a CGN account see what they are listed/selling for on gunpost.

Love those old Rugers. The price range of what CNP is saying is around what I would guess as well.

I have bought 5 of the Ruger tang safety models in the past year, just cause I really like them.....all in great shape, all with their rings and couple of which you can't even tell if they have been fired. All between $550 to $780. The highest one I payed that much for because it is a rare dog leg bolt model in 6mm Rem.
I see guys trying to sell them at stupid high prices like 900 to 1200 bucks....but those ads stay up forever with no takers....if you really want to sell it then $500 to $700 depending on shape and caliber, seems to be their fair market value.

Agree with Halfton - although, I would have to say - I would hate to part with one if I had one.
