Default Moose Hunt 515

Drew a moose tag for 515 this year and am looking to set up camp for a few days in early November. How essential is a quad? A buddy of mine is coming too and I only have the one machine, though truth be told I'd like to keep things as simple and low tech as possible- just not at the cost of going home empty handed. I only ask because I've done day hunts in the area before and there have been times all the other hunters I've seen are in trucks or ATV's

I drove through 515 to get to 512 this year to get my early season bull. I would say the moose sign was low.
A quad is pretty much a must to cover more ground but mostly to cover remote ground. It will 3x your success rate if your off road.

Good to know- figured that was probably the case as I was the only guy on foot haha. I'll have to work something out I guess
