Default Fusion ammunition

So I'm kinda cheap, and specially because I have to gear up quite a bit to hunt this year. Was browsing around WSS and the fellow recommended fusion as an alternative to some of the more expensive name brands. Usually I'm a believer of "you get what you pay for" but I'm interested if anyone used and thinks this ammunition is good or bad. I'm shooting a .308 WIN for deer, probably 165 grain. Thx in advance.

Used fusion once before and it did the same thing as the expensive stuff and the same thing as the cheap stuff. They all got the same end result animal down. I don't shoot competitively or for groupings I just hunt. The ammo I have now was something like $15 a box. JMO

I would recommend Fusion I have a 270 that cloverleaf that stuff at 100 yards and a 308 that is about 1 inch moa with it. However my 300 wsm didnt like it.

I think these bullets are the best bang for your buck (no pun intended) as for performance on amimals a 308 at 300 yards was a complete pass through on a bull moose.

Try em out
Mike

Believe it or not, I'm getting 1 1/2" at 200m with my Tikka in .338 with 225 gr Fusion No time to load for it before the season this year. I'm pretty sure any moose or elk won't know if it was a Fusion or handloaded Accubonds that put them on their back!

I do know that they are not what I would recommend for wolves at close range

i have used them in my 7mm short mag and also in my new 300 wsm both seem to have the same results i can split holes at 100 yards 200 they are pretty desent but 300 yards im lucky if i can hit the paper i switched to a more expensive bullet for my 7mm and it has made a huge difference my next trip to town i will be doing the same for my 300 wsm

Been shooting them out of my 25.06 for a couple of seasons. Not quite the groups at long range as the expensive stuff but I've killed some nice deer and lots of yotes with it.
