Storms thread 2019
I was worried today’s storm was going to bring damaging hail. We had hail and tons of rain.
Still flooded in the backyard.

Last week a storm came through. Pea size at my place and about an inch at the neighbors down the road about 1k away.

And on the other side of Stoney in Chaparral we had some drops of rain. I’m about a par 5 away from you.

It's been raining for 4 days here. Absolutely dumps then rains then pours, then an hour or 2 of drizzle, repeat

The NSR in Edmonton this afternoon was at 1040cm3. It usually flows at 240-300cm3. The depth charts were at 6 plus meters, the usual is 3-4 meters. The volume of water coming out of the west is incredible.
Got caught at the cardlock today in a cloud burst including pea sized hail. Praying this moisture heads north!

.... and South. Had some showers around Medicine Hat the last few days but nothing of significance.

Big storm. Heavy rain, small hail, just walloped south Calgary. Radar shows more storms coming. Fingers crossed the garden survives the night.

Heavy rain this morning in Blackfalds, but subsided to a drizzle for most of the day.
There was a break were the concrete actually dried up but it’s wet again now. Perfect for the lawn

Made up for it today hurricane wind, rain and hail...could barely see across the street at one point like a really heavy fog...some minor flooding at my house ..the Neighbor had a lake in his yard..Rained so hard at one point the water actually started to flow backwards up the street. Window wells 6" high could not hold back the deluge.....fun day...

58th ave just west of Blackfoot filled up for a couple of hours last nite in front of the shop, was up to the top of the wheel wells on a fire engine, got 3 cars who tried to go thru it.
Have some pics, but, they are being obstinate about uploading. Usually only does that with big hailstorms, but, that was a massive dump of rain last nite, filled it as high as I've seen it with any hailstorms.
