last rifle I sighted in was way high . Had to bring target in to 50 to get it on paper . Went from there . Bore sight first if possible . I love my 7mm and shoot all my big game with it . Try some different ammo types . with that set up you should be able to be quite accurate . Happy shooting

338Bluff,
For all you know the OP is a lady who weighs 90 pds soaking wet.
Who cares if you shoot a hopped up 3006 with hot hand loads or a watered down 7 mm. the point is start LIGHT, with hearing, eye, and shoulder protection, off a very solid rest.
Then get good at shooting, and move up in caliber size.
If you ever train a dog for retrieving, to ensure the dog does not get gun shy, you start by clapping your hands over the dog's head while they are eating, not blasting 3.5 in 12 gauge Mag loads.
But anyways, the point is again lost. This isn't caliber debate, it is a learning to shoot debate, and shooter tolerance is the first step to marksmanship.

I believe that LOP and eye relief are a priority for comfortable shooting, and using a pad between the gun and your shoulder can mess up both. Trying to prevent one issue, can cause more harm than good.I do agree with good vision and hearing protection.

Exactly this. Also for any other hunting caliber with FPS of 2800-3400

7mm Rem Mag
Okay after buying myself a good gun rest I went to the crown land today. First tries out Winchester X super 175 gr. I had 3 shots within 1 MOA.
Than tried out 200 yards (my bad should have tried 150 yards but its crownland nothing is right there and lots of dead wood). My shots were not right and grouping was bad, at this point I think I need to go to a range

Pick one load, and stick with it. Every time you change loads, you introduce another variable, that you don't need right now. Let your shooting tell you your accuracy limit . If you can't keep all of your shots inside 4" at 200 yards off of a solid rest, then you are going to be much worse in the field, without a rest, likely not even in the kill zone of a deer, so don't shoot that far at animals, until your shooting improves significantly.

Perhaps if you post your location someone experienced might take you under their wing and give you some help.

If anyone willing to help will be greatly appreciated.

The 7mm Magnums in my mind are really really tough to beat as do anything well hunting cartridge. I do think sighting in 3” high at 100 yds is too high and prefer a 250yd zero.
