Word here is that it is actually quite doubtful the SC will even hear this case. They generally do not get involved when the decision is unanimous, which it was in this matter. And, there are extremely little grounds to consider for an appeal whatsoever. be right surprised if it escalates that far.
Horgan had no choice but to do so. The extremely fragile coalition between the NDP and Weaver's greens would dissolve in a heartbeat had he not. And of course a good number of those who support the NDP would have been quite miffed, and perhaps gone over to the green had he done so.
The majority of folks in BC outside of the LML and Victoria support Alberta all the way in this matter. Something I think a lot of Albertans simply are not aware of. The previous government had to go due to extreme corruption (sound familiar Alberta?). So we got "
blessed" with this particularly nauseous coalition as a result. The opposition has likely learned it's lesson, and the population as a whole is paying the piper for this development. Won't be long and they'll be gone. Again, more than a little reflective of what happened in Alberta, no?
Just wanted to say that you all have many friends over here, and a lot of us are indeed pushing to get things right for all of us.
Have a great day!
Cheers,
