Ruger 10/22 Safety Plunger

Howdy,

I recently disassembled my Ruger 10/22 trigger assembly and made the mistake of removing the safety which has a small plunger and spring located beneath it. After trying for hours I have given up, does anyone know of any tips on how to get the safety back in place? Or know of a gunsmith in Calgary that would be able to do this.
