Default So Who Watched The Stamps/Esks?

I forgot to watch the game today then heard that it was tied with a minute to go... now I see Stamps won, sounds like it was an exciting game!

What were your impressions of the game?

It was alright but 4 turnovers by the Eskies and Calgary couldn't get more than 3 points

The result is that Saskatchewan now has a better record than Edmonton.

Got to foothills medical center right at kick off to see the fighter jets do their flyover. I’m not opposed at all to such things but I do wonder how much a flight like that for PR costs. Oh well pilots still have to get their flight time no matter what! Overall I was surprised to see the game was as close as it was.

Fly Pasts are good PR and there is no "extra" cost involved as they count toward their required flying time to keep their qualifications up to date.

Edmonton needs discipline. Jason Maas, has no idea how to teach discipline, never learned it himself. Jones (Sask), knows discipline, example Carter. Jones going to win Grey Cup this year, again. Calgary and Bo Levi looks like they are at end of their peak.

I think those fighter jets are the coolest thing ever......

I much prefer them (and they get flying time credit) to the RCMP musical ride and supporting that budget...
IMHO...

It was the 1st CFL game I've watched all season, which is odd for me because I'm a big fan of the league.

Great game, Edmonton moved the ball well but turnovers and mistakes cost them. It was theirs to lose, and they did.

Edmonton has a receiver, I think 81? who really impressed...big catches and really good blocking on a couple of run plays that I noticed.

I look forward to watching games from here on in, cause it's a knife fight to the Grey Cup after this weekend.

Bombers are still my team though...Esks a distant second.

It was a good game Reilly is an outstanding QB, Levi no's slouch either the injury to his knee could be a factor for the rest of the Stamps season. Eskies held the fort to only allow 3 points off turnovers, the Stamps receivers forgetting how to catch a ball helped although not enough for a win.
My Riders are looking stronger although for the first half the offence was lacking hopefully Jones will address that for the rematch next week.

Go Riders!

I was at the game. Extremely entertaining, but a little sloppy. The flyovers were awesome, as usual.

Not gonna win too many games when you have as many turnovers as points in the second half, how embarrassing.

A friend I was watching it with said "at least they got the penalties under control"

Yea, except the one that cost them the game!

Lots of work to do. LOTS, AND LOTS, AND LOTS of work to do.

I hope the Stamps got a good scare and keep motivated for the playoffs... can you imagine if they get to the GC again and throw it away 3 years in a row? I might become an Esks fan if they do.

From a entertainment POV.. AWESOME!

From a football POV.. PIZZ poor.

I know my beloved Stamps are 9-1 But these guys are just getting by. They know it as well. When the north wind starts to blow and the snow is falling I think they will be exposed as frauds unless something changes. Something isn't right with this team. In no way is it BLM.. That guy is a stud. I don't think its coaching or management either.

Saturday in Edmonton will be interesting. The season rests on this game I am afraid. They have given the Eskys some confidence now lets see how the Stamps react.

Don't you guys wish these teams played each other every week?

That game was stupid sloppy.. OMG... So much fun to watch. If Calgary catches the ball in the end zone, the city of Edmonton would have imploded.

What a fun 2 weeks of Ball.

Perhaps see you girls in the Western final?

Nothing what so ever.. Just a hater.
Cornish was great. So unfortunate he doesn't play anymore.
