I would try the 130gr TSX 1st and if it shot well I would never look back.
If the 130gr TSX out of your 270 WSM won't kill it you need a whole lot more power than just moving up to 150gr bullet!
Seriously, I think the 130gr TSX and the 270 WSM is a terrific set-up unless of course you gun doesn't shoot them well. Make sure you get all the copper cleaned out of your barrel before trying them.
thx for all your replies, be going out moose hunting in mid september, just what to make sure which ones to buy.I have to order them for winnipeg cabela's, i'll just get one of each and find out what works best. and again thx.

It surely sucks, having to plan things in such a rushed manner is'nt it.
As mentioned, what ever shoots best in your rifle. I had always used Winchester Supreme 140gr Accubonds in k y 270WSM's until I started to reload - reloads of 140gr Accubonds. More than adequate. Great bullet.
The 130 TTTSX's or TSXs from Federal would be good too. Nothing wrong either with the XP3's, but I have never tried them...wish you could get the bullets to reload them..but that will never happen.
the best factory ammo combination i found federal with trophy bonded , win silvertips to messy, jacket seperation even on deer, speer grand slams work well also ,never tryed barnes
