Default Stove top coffee maker anybody have one

Hey guys I am looking at the Bialetti style stovetop espresso makers. Any body have one? Could you share your experiences ? I see most use them with gas ranges and was wondering if they will work fine with an electric range.
Thanks

I use my Bialetti on the campstove, on my wood burning stove in my ice fishing shack, and on the regular glass stovetop... all work just fine. They are great little units.

We use a regular peculator, steel one like you find in camping isle. We use it on a glass top stove. Does the trick.

If your not set on those I would highly recommend the aero press. But it is a little more work. But I believe what your looking at does work on all cooking surfaces without issues. I know I have watched my friends using them on all different cooktops

As for the grinder do you want a hand powered grinder or power for home? I purchased mine at a small shop in downtown Edmonton and it is very good small hand grinder. I think they are 40 bucks. Coffee bureau is where I bought mine.

Either one works as long as it does not make a mess. I had an electric one a while back and every time you tried to take the plastic container out you would either spill some or the ground coffee would stick to the machine and as soon as you moved the unit the grounds would fall all over the counter.

Well I guess I can't use this type of coffee maker as they are not able to be used with induction type stoves and that is what I have.

Too bad the moka pot won't work for induction. I love mine. I use a old spong hand operated coffee mill. Brad
