Default eye glass friendly binos

Looking a new pair of eye glasses friendly binos. I have Minox now that work great with my glasses off but not so much with them on. For you eye glass wearers out there what have you found that works for you?

Steiner Predator 8x42 is what I went to when I had to start wearing glasses.

Never found a pair really eyeglass friendly. With eyeglasses on it screws with eye relief, personally I find because of the extra distance my eyes are from the lenses you can adjust focus and diopter for it but eye position must be so perfectly aligned with the binos I end up always fighting to keep them in alignment to maintain focus. I always go back to using them without my eyeglasses. I bring the binos back to my face with the eye pieces lowered to catch under the bottom of my eye glasses and lift them allowing me to slide the binos to my eyes. When I take the binos away from my face my eyeglasses fall back down to my nose in their normal position. I't's second nature to me now as I been doing that for decades. If I'm glassing for extended periods I take them off.

Meopta, most comfortable/best binos I’ve owned and I’ve had alpha glass.

I use a Leica bino that has eyepiece that you can twist to adjust for glasses. Any bino that has that feature will work for us glasses wearing folk

Default Binos

Age has got me into progressive bifocals. Checked out the eye relief on a few standing at a counter, and ended up with Bushnell Legends in 10x42. Been working well for me for 10 years. The longer the eye relief the better off you'll be, best to do your own testing.

Best answer is to try a bunch out. I find, depending on your prescription and/or astigmatism that certain binos work better than others depending on the person. Good glass makes it easy to look though. Good build quality will usually have twist in/out eye cups for the proper relief the wearing glasses. And good build quality means that the diopter adjustment (the knob on the one barrel) actually works well and stays tuned when you focus the bios.

There are lots that fit the bill. I've got cheaper Vortex (Diamondback 8X42's) that work great for me while wearing glasses while hunting and some Westmarine 7x50's that I use when I'm on a boat. Both sets were $300-$400 each.

I have worn glasses my whole life. Any decent quality binocular has adjustable eye pieces, either roll over rubber or twist in and out. They all worked just fine to adjust so that my eyes are the same distance with glasses as they are without. There are companies that sell replacement eye pieces that allow you to get closer than you can on most with no eyeglasses. I tried a set and found no real advantage.

The one thing that does make a difference, glasses or not, is a a diopter adjustment on BOTH eye pieces. Not everyone is right eye dominant and being able to adjust the left eyepiece is a real big advantage.

Just bought a pair of these as well. Long eye relief is the key thing.
