Default seriously?

Check the link. If you can't figure out when the season starts for your WMU, you shouldn't be hunting.

Hey Coyote I suppose all these guys insuluting you have there tags bought and have read this seasons regulations twice already. A simple season date would be nice for those fools that havent had a chance to pick up the regs yet but for some reason people would rather throw jabs than help out ...... funny thing is if you were to ask these questions in person you would probably get a straight answer not this smart ass crap.

Good Luck this year.

Just to be straight.....wasn't trying to be a smart***. Just trying to help the guy out. I've probably gone over the regs 4 or 5 times and will still have them with me.

As a rule of thumb (remember as a guide only!) The Parkland zones (200's) & a lot of the prairie zones (100's) open on the 1st Wednesday after the September long weekend. (aka Labour Day).

Good job mentoring a fellow hunter there he even told you "I'm NEW to bowhunting". What part of I'm a beginner didn't you understand?

Coyotechallenger. If you know the regs well by now, a quick way to get through them is to hit primary pages every year, first thing. Check new changes, read em, know the ones that apply to you. After that, check what does apply to you and you are basically done. It takes 5 minutes, unless you like to stay on top of everything like most guys do.

Coyote, where do you plan on hunting this year?
I'm new to the sport as well, want to get a deer with my bow, and i'm looking for someone around my age to hunt with (17), as well as an experienced hunter.
