Quiver issues for small diameter arrows
I have a quiver and looking for suggestions on what to put in arrow holders so I can use my victory vaps arrows , I have tried felt , keeps sticking to arrrow when I go to take one out , I know other quivers have a feature for this but would rather not buy another new quiver . Thanks

Same problem with my longbow...I use wire ties from bread bags and wire them in. It's actually a good idea for any bow quiver, I've never lost one since.

Kind of wonder why the broadhead hood don't go at the bottom so the arrows don't slide down.. ?

When I switched to vap's I was in the same boat. My quiver held them, but not tight enough for my liking. I am a Mathews guy, and I run 2-piece quivers. So I found and bought the old style Mathews quiver which has adjustable arrow grippers and I run it with the new style top. It works beautifully.
Sorry I can't help with what material to add to your quiver. I'm surprised somebody doesn't make replacment grippers for all the common quivers for these newer ultra small diameter arrows.

Yup, it will hold any Arrow. I have not lost an arrow since I started using a tight spot quiver best one out there imo

Quiver
Ya tight spot is a good quiver but the outside arrow slot doesn't hold a victory vap because it doesn't have adjustment on that one , unless my buddy was missing his ?

I'm sure mine all adjust. I will look when I get home. I can't imagine I have been using it for 7 or so years without it being able to adjust, especially since thats the arrow one would be prone to lose.

Because you couldn't walk through the bush with your srrows pointed that way without catching every twig and branch....

I had the same problem when I switched to VAPs. I know you said you'd rather not buy a new quiver but I can tell you the Tight spot is an awesome quiver and not just because it holds small arrows. I actually prefer to shoot my bow with it on I find that little extra weight helps me hold steadier for some reason and on my setup my bow seems to level quicker. I can confirm that all of the holders on it are adjustable. if I had to do it over again even if I didn't need to I would go with the tightspot.

It does adjust, in unison with the far right one. Actually quite a smart little method when you examine how it works.
I found the arrows do come loose after shooting a bit but maybe that's to be expected even with the tightspot?

Ill never have another bow without a tightspot quiver.
You will be much happier if you just pony up and get one rather that make a bandaid fix work with the one you have.

I shoot 5mm FMJs and my Tight Spot works perfect.

I use vap arrows and use a trophy ridge vault, it's a two piece and if the arrows are a little loose just move the top peice a degree or two and they are nice and snug. It's got a good low profile as well. I love it

Another tightspot user. Have used it for both VAPs and Goldtip Pierces.

take moleskin and line the inside of your existing quiver with it. Works great.

if you have not already bought something a good tip for the smaller diameter shafts, I put a dab of silicon on the backside of the rubber where the arrow sits and it holds my arrows much tighter in the rest without them sliding down or falling out.

Every 5 or 6 years or so I sell off my old guitars to pay for my bow stuff.
Like the Gibsons, Westerbys and Fenders and such.
It's a trade off as I see it Gibsons last a lifetime and more, I can justify
selling it for a bow that will do the same.
I can't see selling the gibson to make a mortage payment, that would simply
go away next month.
No, if I was to sell my guitar, then I would expect to spend the money by
investing into a new bow. That's what I would do.
Something that would last.
:-)
These are the things I have done over the years.
So sometimes you have to bite the bullet and spend the money. Figure it out for yourself.
Or sometimes your just kidding yourself getting sucked up into the advertising.
Sometimes it's good and some bad.

Spending the money to switch to new arrows is a costly expense.
Not spending the money for a quiver to cover the cost is a petty
excuse.
Funny there's never enough money to go round to buy all the fortunes
that abound, and there is never a limit to graps at.

The Tight Spot works well......but I did lose two arrows out of the #1 arrow gripper that is closest to the bowstring on remote backcountry hunts. I had adjusted the gripper slot(s) as tight as possible when I switched to Easton Injexion 330s (super skinny shafts). The cure for that was to fabricate a new wider wedge to go into the first slot. That tightened up the #1 hole and no issues since.
As a side note, I mentioned this to Tight Spot via email they mentioned the stock wedge can be rotated 90 degrees to achieve the same result as my custom wedge.........don't know, haven't tried it, but worth a look.
As per other quivers, I've forced round wood toothpicks, or slivers of PVC pipe into the rubber between the grippers to tighten them up. Also had somewhat satisfactory temporary results by adding Shoe Goo to the grippers. It doesn't last real well in my experience.
Good luck, hope you don't lose too many arrows!

Mathews quiver
I shoot a Z7 and have a Mathews quiver on it with my VAPs. To keep them from moving or falling out I found a small piece of weather stripping at the back of your rubber slot moves the arrow just forward enough to keep the in there tight. I mostly spot and stalk and haven't had any issues since I've made this mod.
