Default Fox Creek Area

Found out I'll be working in Fox Creek late July

I've read about guy fly fishing the little smokey in September when the grayling are in their wintering pools

Any productive streams late July/august?

the Little Smoky is good all year round, just have to explore a bit more in summer. lots of pools and riffles along river that the grayling love to hang out in.

lots of nice little river and creeks in the area. Berland off the haul road is really good for grayling also. get a good map or Google earth to find the roads that lead to the river and do a little exploring. they tend to love to hang out at the bends in the river and at the tail end of the riffles.

good luck
Mike

Head up the Bigstone, you'll find lots of good spots. THe Berland is fishing well right now as well.

by looking at the alberta river data sight, i would say a storm went thru in the last day or two. it spiked pretty hi and is near the average hi for this time of year. probably pretty dirty and flowing fast right now. might want to give it a few days of clear weather before you try it.
