Default Gun range near canmore.

Hey folks i have a few questions about gun ranges near canmore. The first is if theres any current members of the kananaskis range in dead mans flats. Are they acepting members? if so how does one join? I emailed them and never got a reply and i got a few very diffrent answers from members i have met. Failing that where would you guys look next? Price isnt a big deal but distance is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you are talking about sibbald flats. There are several ranges and clubs there. The one I've heard is taking new members is BTSA. Btsa.ca. Should have the info. Or check the sticky at the top of this forum.

I got a reply from the club president, you have to be sponsored (refered) by an existing club member - they have to vouch for you.
Unfortunately, I know no existing club members so I got nowhere.

I had read the same about being sponsored. My emails to them and inquiries to members on this board have not received replies. I think they keep things pretty hush hush. I do know that the town of Canmore wants them gone. It's too bad, it sounds like a great club.
