Default First time on the Bow river

Ever since I've moved to Alberta I've stayed fairly busy with work, haven't had very much time to do any kind of fishing. So my girlfriend decided that for my birthday she was going to take me on a guided fishing trip on the Bow river. I haven't fly fished in years, and she has never had the opportunity. Well she's hooked now, and I've been reminded how much fun it is. It was also my first experience at fly fishing from a drift boat (or any boat for that matter). We had good success and good weather, and now I'm looking into buying a drift boat lol. Landed one brown trout that was a blast to fight and bring in, and let me tell you, we don't see trout like that back east very often.
