I went with Home Depot when we replaced our cabinets and I had no issues. I took all of the measurements, made a plan, picked up the stock list for the type of cabinets that we selected and chose the sizes and types that we needed. I later went in and the person working in the department and punched the numbers into a computer program that confirmed that the cabinets that I selected fit according to the measurements that I had taken. Once confirmed, I was given a price and I told them to order it......no problem whatsoever.

A good rule of thumb is $1000 per lineal foot to redo a kitchen. It is not just cabinets and counter tops. You need to allow for moving plumbing and electrical service if little lady becomes creative. Also counter top in latest materials will do wonders for your budget. Buying new doors for existing cabinets is most economical route. You will not throw out your high quality plywood cabinets and replace them with particle board.
