Default Remember the case of Affluenza?

Remember the case of Affluenza? A young Texas man got away with DUI killing 4 innocent people 2 years ago because his lawyer cited Affluenza. Well his mom just dyed his hair and smuggled him into Mexico (against probation) because pictures appeared online of him and friends drinking recently at a party. This is also against his probation and could turn his prob. Into 2-10 years in jail. Looks like the kid has really learned his lesson and feels bad for his previous mistakes.....

They got caught because his mom used her cellphone to order dominos pizza in Puerto Vallarta

I hope this kid gets the book thrown at him like they should have done the first time. He obviously has no regret

Simple terms:

Affluenza - too rich to know the difference between right and wrong.

Money talks. The same judge in a case 10 years previous, gave another 16 year old 20 years in prison for a DUI causing 1 death. That kid came from a poor family and had a rough childhood, no excuse, but the point is that 10 years later he sentences a rich kid to juvenile probation for killing 4!

No doubt the judge was in daddys pocket. This kid was driving his fathers truck to school at 13 and when the school complained citing the fact that he was underage, had no licence etc, the father threatened to BUY THE SCHOOL!!! He had local law enforcement in his pocket so junior was able to drive around at 13 with no consequences.

Oh my God his Mom forced him to eat Domino's pizza?
I think he has a good reason to cry child abuse. I can't believe she had the gall to do that!

They are in big trouble now. They ran to Mexico to avoid the son being alcohol tested (he was viewed on Twitter playing beer pong with his buddies, a violation of his parole, even though there's no pics of him actually drinking the beer). If he had tested positive, it would have been a relatively minor parole violation. Now because they ran, he faces up to ten years (if tried as an adult this time), and now mommy faces 2-10 years as an accessory. Very dumb move.

That is just wrong in so many ways.

Maybe justice will come full circle as the charges are more significant for both Mom and her baby. However the skeptic me says money will pay in this and a slap on the wrist not maximum time will be the result for both.
