Instrumentation
kind of a weird question/request.
I'm a journeyman electrician and a 1st year registered instrument tech. apprentice,
i left the company who i was doing instruments with, for a better job doing electrical (no instruments whatsoever) we are kind of slower now and I'm wanting to continue on with my instrumentation (challenge first and second year) while i have the time. i plan on going to 3rd and 4th year school but figure i can get the first two out the way pretty easily.
does anyone know what the guidelines are for a non instrument company picking up an instrument apprenticeship?
i talked to alberta apprenticeship but they were kind of vague, stating you did not need to work under a journeyman but someone who was qualified for at least 2 years. the girl on the phone couldn't really explain it either.
