Default A question for gun range members

I posted this xmas music clip a couple days ago https://www.facebook.com/DefenderOut...04749/?theater and it got me thinking... Wouldn't it be interesting to set something like this up at the local gun range? Only on a grander scale.

Instead of just flat xylophone type bars like the guy in the clip is shooting at have a nice big set of tubular chimes of all the musical notes in 3 or four octaves. Even set up symbols and gongs and xylophone bars. Even different big bells. Set up at various yardages away.

Then have solo or duets or even full orchestral renditions with 10 people or more shooting up a musical tune.

A new way of becoming a precision shooter. Timing would mean everything.

I was thinking the military infantry would be skilled and disciplined enough to pull something like this off. Good precision practice for moral.

Could even become part of an olympic event. Musical triathlon.

Seriously, do you think a gun range club would even consider such a concept?

Maybe a landowner would have to set up a private musical gun range.

I can already hear "the flight of the bumblebee" played in the key of 30 win mag and 22 short with the grande finale in 50 cal and buckshot.

I like to think big... Should a guy start tuning up?

Not likely to happen at a shooting range because the targets would require CFO approval, and I don't see it happening at such a close distance.

That is why I was thinking at proper yardages. It definitely would be light load charges.

Extended ranges means centerfire ammo, which means magazine capacity issues.

I just can't see it making it.
