Default .257 Weatherby Mag

as anyone tried the new enduron imr 4451 or 7977 powder in the
.257 weatherby?
Any feed back will be appreciated.

im curious as well, i got more than a a lifetime of imr7828scc, imr 4831 and reloader25 if id have known the other stuff was coming down the pipe i have waited for it.
id be up for going halfers on a stash of it.

Just ordered my first 257 in the ruger#1 as soon as I get her I want to start reloading for it.
Interested in trying these new powders

Are they slower than 7828ssc? Thats what my 257 eats. I also have h1000 and retumbo to try this summer

My Weatherby Magnums both use H1000. .257 and .270.

Thanks for showing me your new Vanguard today Gerry, that two stage trigger is the best out of the box factory hunting trigger I have seen in a while.

7828ssc, h-1000, RL25 in mine, with the accuracy and velocity nod to RL25. I too am curious about the new powders. Going to have to hunt some down..

Default Enduron 4451 & 7977

I bought 2 lbs of 7977 & one of 4451 from Reg in Caroline about a month ago. I bought all he had then. He may have more but you,d have to check with him. Expensive though $60 a pound.

Ouch that's about worse than the vit powders!
