Well the trapper family has a least one who doesent play by the rules.Got a call last fall and it was a trapper from lac labiche and said he had 8 pieces of land fr me to trap.Well it started from there,he promised me everything and the excuses began. At the end of a year he took about 3to 4 hundred dollars not bad for someone who has about 30 pieces of machinery and lots of cattle and land a person could want.He even said I was Harrasing his brother and his wife, and I wanted was to trap and get started with the 10 dozen snares he said he would make for me for trade.I guess this moral of the story is not to trust everyone. So be careful who you trust, not everyone in the trapping world is the same I'm sure. That is my rant for the day Thanks for reading about a so called brother of our trapping world.

WTH....lol.

How did he take $300-$400 from you. lol?

What exactly were you trading him for snares>?

This rant seems a bit ridiculous...how old are you out of curiosity and where are you from?

I got conned out of a significant amount of money this past summer for work that I did but never got paid for so I definitely feel your frustration. This guy was a professional con artist though and not just someone with low moral values. I've been doing business with just someone's word and a handshake for more than 10 years and this was the first time that I got burned. I believe that the majority of people are honest but there will always be those few.
