Default Do they or do they not? That is the question

Do budgets balance themselves like the Drama queen claims or do they not like the Lying Provincial NDP claim.

http://www.edmontonsun.com/2015/10/2...back-by-a-year

And this is before the budget finally comes out. Wonder why they waited till after the federal election to announce this?

I'm just about giddy thinking about the budget and taxes.

Oh no, it's not their fault, it is the low oil prices to blame!

Just lubing us up for a major fisting. Get ready for massive carbon tax on fuel, and most likely a PST.

But this won't harm any of the lower class people 'cause good ol Rach raised the minimum wage.

Default ... and this illustrates the problem with Canadian politics lately ...

bunch of lying pigs !

what i'm more interested in is watching how the local media tries to spin this so that it does not look entirely the fault of Notley and 'crew

TBD

.... and they have the nerve a few weeks ago to give themselves all a raise

... nothing will change until people start taking to the streets, pitch forks and burning stick torches ought get their attention

in the latest example I heard about, caused a business owner who has some minimum wage employees to reduce his business hours for same by half an hour per day. So they get roughly the same net paycheque per week. I don't have any employees affected at all, thankfully (they all have actual training and skills which demand somewhat higher in the market), but I'm waiting for one to suggest they should get a raise because a friend who stocks shelves at a retail store is closing in on them (?). The "lower class" will suffer the most, as usual. But don't let reality get in the way of ideology(?).

So they get the same pay and more time off. Doesn't sound so bad.

So they can't balance the budget for another year. What's that been now? 3 lies about the same issue already. 2017?, 2018?, no 2019 now. Yeah...we believe you. All because of low oil prices? In case they weren't paying attention...(and I'm sure they weren't), the oil prices were low when they made all those promises. Did they think oil was going to go up to $100 just because they took over the promise?

Man, I still can't believe there were enough people in this province to vote them into power. Simply amazing.

I'll bet you still think its a win win, don't you?

The amazing part is that some people still think this party will EVER balance a budget.

They won't. This message means they won't be ale to balance it during their term. So when they see what Albertans think of that and realize they are a one trick pony,Knuckle down , buckle down and cut something. Nope they will double down and tag team the taxpayers of Alberta.

I would assume he made a calculation and found it would be more profitable for his business to shut down for a half hour and save on wages than it would be to remain open for that half hour.

Losing one way instead of losing two ways. Good idea.

With all the newcomers arriving and the red GTA of Ontario...
It's entirely possible for a Federal Liberal majority in 4 yrs.
With all the scandals the Ontario Liberals won a majority provincial government as well.

So $1.00/hr raise = $8.00/day wages per employee.

7.5 hr work day = $7.50/day wages per employee.

2.5 hrs reduction/week = $2.50 wages saved per employee.
