I know my grandpa has them and he absolutely loves them. I am just not sure about the battery life on them.

I got something like those for my wife, as it seemed we were only getting a run or two of skiing before she needed to warm up in the lodge and I'm used to going for a few hours at a time.

They worked well enough to get another run or two in before she needed warm up time, as long as we were smart enough to remember to bring batteries, on the plus side, they will add a shot of baileys to your coffee in the starbucks at sunshine, so i got to have one or two "cowboy coffee's" in the morning with her required warm up breaks.

If your needing these for winter or hiking boots, I'd suggest getting better boots though. Ski boots are a bit different.

Invest in the best snow boots they make. -90 or colder. I have some work rated ones and my feet start to sweat at -20 walking behind the snow blower. On the ice all day and feet never cold. Can't beat really good boots!

Something like this is rated at -100

Not sure if these are the same but last year on the slopes a couple of girls we met on the lifts were controlling their boot temperatures with their iphones. I felt old

seem sort of cumbersome compared to heated insoles.
