Ha ha that's funny. All the perp will say is he was ensuring you didn't lock your baby or dog in the car....he was ahem, checking. Don't waste your time with the cops.

Perhaps ... however, they may already have a file on this guy and what's the chance that bike is stolen, too!

Can i ask where this is, that guy checking door handles looks exactly the same as the guy that stole my neighbours truck. He rode up on the same bike and same sweater and backpack, then broke in the truck and threw his bike in the back and took his truck.

I'm sure there aren't too many over 30 douchebags riding a bike around sylvan, should be easy to identify him.....

Over the past 5-6 years my neighbors have had stuff disappear from vehicles that weren't locked, we get a lot of people going by our condo complex on Lakeshore Drive near the Sylvan G&CC, but never any damage or major theft, hopefully the RCMP can find this goof .... more to follow.

Default Sylvan Lake - Crime Stoppers

Went to see the RCMP this morning, told the office admin staff my story & showed them a photo, they said this was something they thought would help them and gave me a statement to complete and assigned a file number.

Within 5 minutes a young Constable came out and reviewed my info, seen the original photos said they were really good quality, took my SanDisk and copied them, said this fellow looks familiar and advised he would circulate to the other members.

I mentioned I was aware of another incident that this goof may of been involved, in regards to a stolen truck that another officer was handling, he said he would look into that as well.

He thanked me for bring this to their attention and advised to call him in a few weeks with the file no. and if he could, he would give me an update and maybe a big crime stoppers reward.

Lesson Learned for me and others ... a Trail Cam has more than one purpose. If there's something more to update, I will post accordingly.

Cheers

Good on you.

Slyvan Lake Goof (and others degenerates like him) need what's coming to them. I can't say I wouldn't be temped to drive around an evening or two looking to see if I could find him. Sometimes a good discussion goes a long way.

I would support legislation to post the names and faces of convicted criminals for everyone to see. Maybe a before and after photo - lol.
