Default Boycott Delta Airline

Please share on any and all hunting forums/social media.
400,000 bunny huggers signed petition to have Delta ban the transportation of big game trophies.
Let's see if we can get 4 MILLION hunters to Boycott Delta!!

American airlines has the same policy, plus AA sucks!! It is quite possibly the worst airline flying today.

Reminds me of the fiasco with the baker who refused to cook a cake - and was told he couldn't turn down business. Guess that doesn't apply to airlines.

Yep, the angry masses don't mind prejudice when it jives with their trendy petition du jour. I've never thought businesses should involve themselves in dictating their politics over the publics rights & freedoms (PayPal's anti-firearms user policy ring a bell?)

Done,
I boycotted Delta after the Sh!t show I had going to South Africa this past spring.
Got a tree hugger at the Delta check in booth in Edmonton and from there it went south in a hurry. The show Border Secrurity, well the room does look like that behind door #2.

Looks like a lot of guys will be walking to their destinations. I'm thinking the outfitters are going to be freaking out soon.

The same old moronic pandering to the nutty fringe groups. There are many choices for people so don't fly with them or do any kind of business with any of the companies that choose to yield to this ****. Little do they know that most people don't even know a lion was shot,.......or that most people are aware of very much at all.

The hunters can still fly anywhere (but might resent who they need to fly with), they can always UPS or Fedex their trophies. Where there is a void some business will fill it.

One thing I liked was a response from Westjet when asked the same question, they noted they don't serve that market but will continue to fly elk, deer, bear, etc hides. That earns some respect in my books

All my animals boarded the plane today! I should have them in a week and a half. I was a bit concerned because I have a pedestal Buff coming back... All good though!! Not all airlines are jumping on board.

Default Hmm

I thought there was legislation in the US, and Canada possibly(?) with harassing hunters taking part in legal hunts. I would think this might apply?

So far Air Canada, American Airlines, Delta and United are jumping on the bandwagon.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/business/air-...ight-1.3178846

As stated in the article, for Air Canada, this goes above the policy of compliance with the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species, which is already a strictly regulated permit system. Just catering to the misinformed few with the loudest mouths, rather than the law abiding hunters. If that's not enough, I found this in the comments section:

https://www.change.org/p/prime-minis...trophy-hunting

This guy is petitioning the government to ban all trophy hunting!

I don't even know what to do with this crap. Trying to have a rational discussion with people like this is like trying to reason with a three year old in a temper tantrum.

Interfering with a lawful hunt would apply when the hunt is underway, the butchering or taxidermy has got nothing to do with the actual hunting portion.
