Default Nuisance trapping

Anybody on here doing nuisance trapping? I just recently gave my name to the local SRD to help folks with nuisance animals. He asked if I had given any thought as to what I was going to charge and I embarrassingly said that I hadn’t. I just assumed that rates/charges were already established. What are you charging for trapping different critters? I spoke with a young fella yesterday who charges $1.00 per km and then $100.00 for coyote, fox and badger, $50.00 for beaver, skunk and porcupine and $20.00 for muskrat. I am also wondering if you get, for example, 6 or more beaver, muskrat etc. does the price per critter drop? I want to charge a fair price for my services! Thanks in advance for your help!

I have charged $25.00 for beavers and yotes, $5.00 for anything smaller plus $20.00/day per diem. Beavers was where the issues really were and I would charge a flat rate to golf courses etc to remove 100% problem animals. This was 6 years ago before I got out of water trapping and I never did this for profit, just to cover expenses and generate contacts.

I thought he was a bit pricey myself and yet he says he gets calls all the time. He does live closer to Calgary and maybe all the acreage owners out there can afford to pay the money.
I had a guy call about beavers and I threw $30 at him and didn't get a call back! haha

I know a person can't do the work of trapping for nothing , but the prices listed seems pretty hi to me .. I mean $20 for a muskrat ? I do beaver damage work for a local golf course and they paid me $25 each for many years and at their insistance upped it to $35 a couple years ago, who am I to argue . I live close by so travel is not an issue .
