Cold lake travel

I'm planning on hitting cold lake this weekend and was wondering how much snow there is on the lake? Is there enough to run a skidoo ( liquid cooled and I have not yet bought a set of ice scratchers for it). I'm aware that most people are using their trucks to access the lake but I would rather not.

Couple pics of the lake from recent trips on the Cold Lake thread(last 2 pages). Looks like enough. Who knows if this big storm will reach out that far but the lake could get some fresk as well.

We are suppose to get some snow tonite and tomorrow with that there will be enough.

We are getting a pile here in edmonton! When I looked out the window from my afternoon nap I felt kind of foolish for starting this thread! Lol

There are a few ice heaves that darn near stopped my truck cold ! If your on a sled watch out for them, they sneek up on ya !
