I was wondering the same thing about the walleye as I have a couple tags that I tried to fill in the summer but no luck. We have caught pike in rainier draw in winter but never tried for walleye and not sure they would be in that shallow of water either (<10ft). Rena0040 did you have any luck filling your tags on the 6th?

Was out pre new year. Caught 2 walleye, 5 & 7 lbs. Riddleback bay. The big mistake people make is not moving around to find the fish. Just because fish are at one depth at a time of day, doesn't mean they stay there (hint, hint). A camera & flasher never hurt the cause. Drill test holes to dial you in on structure. I think I drilled at least 6 holes to find a good spot before I set up shop. Good depth charts will also point you in the general direction to find structure.

Have fun, be safe, & good luck :-)

Congrats on some big walleye. We don't have all the hi-tech gear but hopefully with a bit of luck we can find some next week.

Went out on Monday...moved around, drilled lots of holes, blade baits and spoons did very well! Unless you have a specific spot a place where fish stack up on structure your best bet out there is to be mobile hammer tones of holes with aggressive baits and move on.
