Default Anti-fog for Binos and Rifle Scopes

Hey Just wondering what people use to prevent fog ups on Binos and rife scopes. What is safe that won't ruin the coatings that most bino's have nowadays.
Thanks

Go to a dive shop and buy the stuff used on dive mask's, works good on safety glasses/glasses, Ski/sled/dirt bike googles too. I haven't used it on a scope, but I'm sure it would work with careful application. Lenses need to be CLEAN, then apply gel and wipe off with a damp SOFT cloth.
Also had good luck using shampoo or dish soap ^^ applied the same way.

Yes, but OP's concern (which I thought was a good one) was whether expensive coatings would be damaged. Dive masks don't have the coatings fine optics do, do they?

I use remainder of anti-fog liquid for diving masks. I'd suggest tho to try one you happen to have on cheap optics first.

Can't see the coatings on scope being damaged by the dive mask anti fog, doesn't burn your eye balls, and doesn't hurt the cheap coatings on expensive glasses or goggles…….. Again never tried it on a scope or bino's, never needed to.

I think Vortex makes a optic specific anti-fog spray.

I did try FogZero - does not work on binos - they barely made any difference below -20C.

EK Cat Crap from Campmor is the best I've found. Strange name but great results.
