Default Mulies Rutting!!!

Watched 15-20 Mulies on an alfalfa field two nights ago....3 shooter bucks…the bucks were nose-ing the air constantly...one buck kept six doe's separated from the rest…
Then he started dogging one younger doe…he wouldn’t leave her butt for nothing …they ran full out around the field for five minutes then to escape she left field…he was on her tail...
she came back 15 minutes later and he was still on her butt…

Rutting just like a whitetail…
wish I would have had my video camera

Been a weird year....

Theres a thread in hunting right now discussing rut's and preruts. Some interesting points being made, but the consence is that it is still too early. Far as I'm concerned, if the deer are acting like the rut is on it's good enough for me.

yup ....The doe in this case obviously gave scent...buck went off deep end...simular what you see in bars..thats rutting
