Default I almost shot a black cow once.....

I had made a poor shot on a cow moose after which we tracked for a couple hours into a large dried up slough bed with willows and tall grass. While following a scant blood trail I looked up ahead and spotted a black thing lying down but couldn't make out it's head or anything. Sneaking in for a shot, it turned it's head, casually chewing it's cud, revealing that it was a beef cow not a cow moose. There were no other cattle in the area at all.......never did find the moose unfortunately.
