Soon to be a hunt camp.
Inaugural trip planned for this November. We've used it for a few fishing trips but it needs a few hunting memories. I am really looking forward to the trip with the guys.
It lacks the atmosphere of a good wall tent but it will work.

Now that our draws are in, thought I'd bump this thread.
I'm only on general tags this year, but will still try to get out a few times.

My set-up
Saskatchewan moose camp. Build yourself a floor if possible, makes camping a lot more comfortable in the cold. -30 all week in these pictures, little airtight kept it nice and toasty as long as you kept up with stoking it.

Good idea Jon but looks like a lot of work! What are you using for a ridge pole?

Man, that was a cooker last year, hey? My mid September elk hunt last year was by far the hottest that I can ever remember.
This thread is great. I usually go back through it from the start once every year. Definitely one of my favorites on AO.

Only 26 days before we fly into the Secret Lake Hilton! Half of me gear is packed already, the jerky is made, meals are made and frozen, knives are sharpened, just got to rebuild the carb on my outboard and I'm ready!

No-ones put one of these up yet, sleeps 8 with all the amenities, heat, stove, fridge, microwave and satellite TV!
Can't find one of the inside though.
