Show of your home build furniture
The tread on the custom table top made me wonder who else has build themselves a table, a bed, a book case or whatever piece of furniture.
I build this 23" x 51" mahogany coffee table and 2 matching side tables 32 years ago with just a handsaw,a jig saw, some chisels and a sander.
The table tops are 2" thick x 10" wide (just glued together,..no dowels) the legs are 1" thick.
They have stood the tooth of time as they are stil in use today.
The coffee table has been stripped and recoated 2 years ago(wife wanted another color)
not bad for a guy who had hardly any prior carpenter experience i say.

That's some fancy jigsaw work.
I've done a table, some benches, a couple chairs. My family is growing, so I'm building a harvest table this winter. As the family grows its also hard to find the time.

Nice work guys!
32 years out of a coffee table, I guess there is something to be said for building things right the first time.

Looks good folks, you deserve a
I only build something when i feel like it,...lately not too much ambition.
I like working and building with steel and pulling wrenches more than working with wood.
I made this wood box a god 15 years ago from 3/4" mahogany plywood, angle iron, flat bar and horse shoe's for hinges and handle.

Wow!! Some gorgeous furniture. I'm very impressed!!!
I've made two tables. I after seeing those other ones I don't think they compare in beauty, but I still like them haha. Both out of pine with basic power tools.
There are some awesome wood workers on here.
This is our kitchen table.
