Smile dragon flies cool sighting!!!!!!!!!

dragon Flies!!

Cool sighting!
walking around the house and i notice one dragon fly resting on the siding in the shaded area of roofline. no big deal.
then as i continue along, more dragon flies resting in the shade !

counted seven,fairly big wings, different colors of bodies

cool way to start the weekend!

They are one really neat mosquito eating insect.

As for flytying...

Where is Alcringa these days? I hope he moved into his new place and has a few pictures to post.

Have been seeing them in my locale for some time now. Very cool, definetley keep the Mosquitos down.

Had a little turquoise colored dragon fly on the fly rod a few years back. One evening at the lake I caught practically a fish per cast with that fly until it was mangled so bad you couldn't tell what it was! Trout absolutely love dragon flies!
