Summer Fishing the Clearwater - Corkscrew mountain area

Hey Guys,

New to fly fishing and this forum and let's just say I'm hooked.

We were up camping near Corkscrew mountain off the Forestry Trunk road this weekend and fished the Clearwater around that area a good bit Saturday and Sunday.

I am wondering if anyone can share information on if they have had better luck for summer fishing in this area?

I have read the threads on lower ram, ram falls and lakes in the area but the random camping is great where we were and I would like to return and actually catch some fish this time.

Any help appreciated, thanks!!
