Gun Cleaning update
Awhile back I posted a thread about advice to get a super dirty riffle cleaned up. Well the soak in Wipeout with the gun in 4 differnt positions worked extremly well! Even with brushing after I got a clean barrel.
One comment about false positives for copper deposits because the rod was brass was bang on. I didn't believe it but tried a patch with a little bit of wipe out on it and rubbed the rod it turned bright blue. Using a bore light to inspect the barrel as best I could it looks very clean.
Ready for the range now!

Wipeout!......and Kroil.
Yeah, I "Thought" I used to have a clean rifle barrel with the normal procedure until I tried Wipeout. Now thats pretty much all I will use besides a patch of KROIL down the barrel after the Wipeout, then a couple of dry patches to pick up the remaining Kroil and Im good to go.
Not sure if the Kroil is a needed step in the process but either way it sure smells good!

It's hard to tell if the bore is really clean without a bore scope , if you know someone with one get them to let you have a look , patches can look clean and there can still be copper or a carbon ring ,

Yes, recently purchased one, it was an eye opener! Especially to see the fire cracking in the leade after 200 rounds, very minor but an eye opener none the less.

Hawkeye, you are looking at a k for a good one with the side view. I chamber my own rifles so it that's how I justified the purchase to myself
