Thanks! Know the place well, lived around there for years! Tried to drink myself from the back of the store to the front, failed!
Is the Dickle expensive?

Finally a thread I can contribute to! I like many others dislike Scotch, the peaty, earthy robust flavor is just to manly for me please note I am just a youngster. Bourbon however has become my weapon of choice. Recently I have been enjoying Eagle Rare 10 Year (I want to try the 18 year) and Mitchers Small Batch regularly. I have a special edition Bookers (I think it is 90proof or so) that I enjoy on occasion. I always have a bottle of Makers around as well.

Great thread.....I look forward to trying some of these. I am a Scotch and Craft beer fan but I am always open to trying new libations,

Whenever I think of bourbon it reminds me of a Robin William's quote, "If alcohol is a crutch the Jack Daniels is a @*$%ing wheelchair!"

I have been trying to convince the Hublet that we should get a bottle to sip on while we watch "Justified", which takes place in Kentucky...provide some atmosphere! His nose gets all skrinkled up, so I guess I will have to try some by my own self. Maybe someone makes a little sampler pack??

Picked up a bottle of Buffalo Trace in Spruce Grove. Yet to try it. Will get a bottle of Dickle next time I hit the city. Store in Spruce has Dickle Rye, but not quite into rye!

The Wyoming Whiskey is different for a bourbon, much sweeter with a bit of peat. If you can find it, it's worth the sip.

So, who drinks bourbon?
Was never a big fan of bourbon, until I found a brand at a Calgary Co-op liquor store that I just loved. Its called Rebel Yell. Unlike a lot of other bourbons, it goes down smooth.

Got a bottle of Costco bourbon today. A lot stronger/ harsher than Buffalo Trace, but overall pretty good! Would recommend it!
