Question longbow's

does anyone have any idea why the modern recurves can have sight's but they have not drilled holes for longbows so they could to have sights

How about.....longbows don't have room on the riser for sights. And anyone who can shoot a longbow don't need no damn sights!

Any good custom bowyer could add the holes for you,......... but he won't.
