Has anyone in Edmonton got movies on hard drive or flash drives I could
Buy, borrow, whatever?
I have 20-30 hours of airport and flight time on Tuesday and then on the return flight for my wife and I to sit through.
I am in Edmonton tomorrow, leaving Tuesday am.

If you were in Red Deer I could lend you a few terabytes, or if you know anyone who is heading up that way, I work the night shift and have a few set up lol
If you know anyone heading up to edmonton I can arrange a pick up for one of them, you can just mail it back when your home

If I could find a good DVD ripper I would just do it myself, but of course thought of this way too late.
I had planned on doing digital downloads, but they only work a small amount of time.

Bah! Try getting movies copied to Playbook just before a long road trip... Grrrrrrrrrr.
(and yeah, these are movies I "own", and are supposed to be transferable to a digital media device...)

I know it is late notice but for a good DVD ripper I use CloneDVD with AnyDVD that takes off the region code. Both available for purchase online.

Thanks guys.
I was able to get 3 digital copies to work on mine, plus I have a bunch of fly fishing books to read on the way so I am ok, just gotta keep the wife happy.
Kim- I barely fit in the bathroom alone standing, no chance of 2 in there.
I can wait until Hawaii for that.

On every desktop/laptop I've ever owned, downloaded shows and movies from iTunes play with the audio/video out of sync. Within five minutes of play time the movement of the lips no longer match the timing of the words/voice.

so don't use the restroom. the show would also help your neighboring passengers on the plane pass the time as well
