Default Ruger RSI for 2014

Zippo4570 texted me last night and told me to go to the Ruger site
WOW!!
Their no1 RSI for this year is in 257 Bob!!
That'a too cool - too bad I'm on a self imposed buying restriction!'

Tempting as all get-out isn't it...I would probably jump on it but I have an RSI in 7x57 as well as a 1A in 7x57.....The real killer is, Ruger has chambered the 1A this year in 280 Rem...and That one is definatly on my TO GET LIST...as well as a 25-06 this year.

I guess if you want some different ones, Lipsey's still has 7x57 RSI's, 1S in 45-70, 1h in 375H&H and 1v in Swift & 6.5-284. Prophet is apparently getting the ones marked 275Rigby this year.
The 257 appeals to me in that 25cal is something I have not played with, but, I have an action I could turn into one PDQ, so I don't think I will run out and buy one right away. And I'd have to build a stock for it, I haven't raised the ambition to get round to that yet. And I 'd have to buy all the 25cal accessories, which could be avoided by going 7-08.

32-40Win....Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...The 257 Rigby is in reality just the original English name for the 7x57mm so nope you wouldn't have to buy anything for 25 caliber...as its 284...

Halfton,32-40win mentioned the 275 in the paragraph above the one about the 257!
He was speaking of " something different" as in the 275 label I think, not confusing the 375 Rigby with the 267 Bob.
