Default Rifle value help

I have an old Stevens 32 long rifle.

Would anyone know what the approximate value of it is?

Is it a Favourite, 44, or a Marksman?

Is that an octagon barrel?

It is not an octagon barrel. The barrel does start octagonal and then transitions to a rounded out barrel.

There are no other markings on it cat. I meant to post more pics, but I could only post one from my cell.

It just says 32 long on the one side and

J Stevens A & T. CO
Chicopee Falls Mass USA
Pat.APR.17.94

Is there anywhere else to look for discerning marks to tell what model it is?

Okay, when you pull the leveer, does it break like a shotgun, or like a falling block rifle?

Looks to me like a falling block. There is no break when the lever is pulled the block descends out of sight to allow you to chamber a round and then back up when you return the lever to its original position.

My 044-1/2 is stamped on the front of the receiver, under the barrel. Have to remove the forestock to see it. I could go look it up to see if that applies for other Stevens models, but, at present have a 70lb lab snoozing on my lap.
Here is some info on the Favorite;

some on the 44 and 44-1/2 and the Crackshot;

They made a lot of models.

Looks like a Favorite to me.

Thanks for helping with the ID.

Any idea what the value is of that particular rifle?

32-40 gave you some good sites. The few I have owned were bought and sold under $200. Seen poor ones under $50.
