.270 B. Blindee Rife Info.
Hi guys, I own a B. Blindee in a .270 cal, with double trigger and it has all the Belgium markings with 5 digit on it (34601). It still works after being stored for over 30 years. I'm not interested on selling it, but I'd appreciate if somebody could tell me the year of fabrication and what's it worth.

I can't see the inspector's mark clearly, there should be a single letter there however.

Star over X from the look of it. Reignier, Alfred 1937-1964. Can't see a date code. Looks like some lettering above the S/N as well?

Yes, there's some lettering above the S/N. The only appreciable letters are the first 6: "F.R. WILH..................... Made in Germany"

B. Blindee" is short for Balles Blindée in French, the standard Belgian proof meaning "for jacketed bullets",
Anybody speak French?

Hmmm - I am guessing "FR. WILH. HEYM Made in Germany." That would likely be your manufacturer: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heym_(gun_manufacturer)

Desert Faux beat you to it in the old thread referenced above. However, that is one of the nicer proof-references I have seen online, great post.
