Default Remington 783

I've been reading reviews of the 783. Seems like it will be worthy competition for the Savage Axis. Anybody actually own one? Are they as good as reviewers say? Who has them in stock & at what cost?.

I have one a very good gun. Ive never used or handled an axis but without an adjustable trigger i wouldnt consider it. Some adjustable triggers are simply how much weight you can add to an already too heavy trigger but the 783 is not of that kind
