TC Encore Pro Hunter?
I think this is a pretty cool rifle, have any of you hunted with one or have much experience with them? Think I might pick one up if they are worth it.

Depends what you want.
For BP you can get just as capable for about half the price.
If its because you wish to have a barrel change capability as an option... the barrels are pretty pricey.
I have one... it shoots very well and I really like the rifle but.... for the price difference between barrels and entry level rifles... it isn't really worth it for that and like I said... there are lots of inlines out there that shoot just as well for far less.
Knowing what I know now... I probably would have bought a Traditions Buckstocker or something along those lines and saved a fistful of cash for things like ammo and accessories.

tc
I really enjoy mine, I have a 300 win mag, 25-06, 270 and .308 barrels for it. They all shoot well. I really like the fact that you get a 28" barrel that feels like a 24" because there is no action. One problem is right now is the only spare barrels you are able to buy are old stock and used ones. TC seems to be not shipping much to Canada right now. Ive been searching for a new .243 barrel for 2 years now.

There was a .243 barrel on CGN 3 days ago.
I love mine, have a 22-250 Barrel and a 300wm Barrel.
Yes barrels are expensive but id much rather have a different barrel for this gun than some cheap POS entry level rifle like some others have mentioned.
Both of my barrels shoot very well. Nice, light, short rifles.
Just my .02 cents

I had on in .280 rem and really liked it. The trigger left something to be desired but there's a fix for that. It shot MOA with little problem at all. Only reassign I got rid of it was something else caught my eye and it drew the short straw out if the safe lol. You can find used barrel here and there fit 3-400$ I don't find that unreasonable at all.

I have an Encore in 209x.50 ML, .300 WM and a .270. I enjoyed accurizing these rifles,,, trigger pull, head space and all spring for a nice crisp and accurate setup. Single shot forces me to make the 1st shot count.

Very handy for a lefty like myself. Have one in 204. Coyotes, gophers, pigeons, magpies, badgers, have all succumbed to the pressure. Lots of them at 200 + yards.
Would like to find some other barrels as well but I am pretty well set for varmint and big game.

Do they offer much in the way of stocks? I'm considering starting my daughter's center fire career with a 223 or something similar.

Nothing stock with shorter or adjustable length of pull.

I have two receivers and four bbl's. The only issue is the 243 bbl that at times fails to extract. Just needs a new flat spring. Can be done yourself in minutes.

I have several and I love them. They are a beautiful rifle to shoulder and hold freehand as well. All mine have been good with no issues at all. Just gotta make that one shot count!
