Default My new ride

So I bought this a couple of weeks ago and man is it nice to fish from . I ran my 15 Evinrude on it and that is not bad but am looking for a 25 for it . At the moment though I will be using my 56 Johnson 5.5 . I am awaiting parts for my other motor. The motor in the picture is just a sample shot not my actual motor ...mine is prettier

I love that old motor - the vintage 50's look would be really cool to have on an old glass boat with bubble windshield and gold flake paint ..........

I would like to see that.. I have a line on a 56 Johnson 18 hp I am planning to get as soon as I can make arrangements to get it. I just put brand new coils in my 5.5 and she purrs.

That old motor belongs on a 14 foot plywood boat built from the plans ordered from Outdoor Life ( or one of the Magazines, I am not sure which one).

Brings back visions of my teenage years in Victoria - We built the boat, bought a used motor, and had my buddy's Dad weld up a trailer for it.

In a bumper Pink Salmon year we had the boat swimmingly half full of fish - eight fish limit per person in those days.
