Default Favorite lakes within a couple hours of Edmonton?

I know lots of lakes but wondering which ones are putting out best. I havent been fishing in ten years or so and my grandfather hasn't gone as much as he'd like to in the last couple years. Just wondering where some Guys Would recommend?

Wabuman can be steady action for good size pike around Fallis Point. Just remember its all C&R

Jackfish Lake west of Stony Plain has lots of small pike and some good C&R walleye.

If you head north, there's lots of lakes in the Athabasca area, just do a google search....

Good luck!
