Default She's finally here

Well it took awhile but she finally arrived! Ordered my Dominion arms Grizzly Feb 26 from Canada ammo. After about 10 days or so of checking the status of it, it finally got shipped out. That was after a polite email or two when they shipped it. Funny that they were so quick to process the credit card, then take two weeks to send it. That aside though, I'm still happy with it and maybe Im just a tad bit impatient haha.

Haven't shot it yet, but almost as soon as it got here I had it stripped down to clean it. Man was it filthy! I'm sure it could still use a few detailed cleanings before its perfectly spotless but good enough for now. It's a solid gun thats for sure. Has some good weight to it. Almost completely solid steel. She's also a bit stiff, but nothing some working in won't fix. She shoulders alright, length of pull is a little long for me with a jacket on, but I may tacticool her up anyways and put an ATI collapsible stock on her. I'll keep the regular buttstock for the bush though.

I can't wait to take her camping and such with me. I'm sure she'll make for a great bush companion as well as zombie apocalypse killing machine

That is all, you may now go back to reading some other useful AO threads.

You didn't read the directions. Never clean a cheap Chinese gun too well or it will just fall apart! The dirt holding it together is what makes that action feel tight!

Putting on a collapsible stock ,may change it into a prohib, I would check before doing it, but have seen guys charged for that.

Seriously, congrats on the new shotty and do let us know how it shoots. As Elko mentioned, check the regs on overall length, the collapsible stock may be a bad idea.

X2...

You will likely have to leave it as is....a firearm can fall under the total length rule provided that it came like that from FACTORY.....if it is altered to fall under the minimum overall length that is a big no no....

That is how the ranch hands and some children's rimfires are able to be so short, because they came from factory like that. Also the short backpacker .410 shotties are super short for the same reason.

Putting a folding stock on that or a pistol grip would create a problem for you.

Canada Ammo is selling the 8.5 for $399. This one was $309. Free shipping. I like the extra mag capacity better in this one.
