Default Garbage article in the Globe and Mail on advisory panel

One of of the worst I've seen. The comment about fully automatic weapons is real piece of work. Complete garbage.

It's the Globe & Mail. What did you expect?

Speaking of that whole issue, I wasn't particularly impressed with Harper's back-peddling as soon as Wendy Kookier piped up with the usual Gun Grabber organ music.

In my opinion, the media scares Harper a lot more than Cukier. By in large, they are anti-gun in the extreme. Any time there is a dramatic incident, they go off the deep end on gun control.

I'm not sure what the big deal is for the G&M and The Star except that they are on some sort of mission or starving for news to report. There were a ton of stories written about the committee back in early December including this one from the G&M itself:

Harper rejects committee’s advice to relax gun laws

OH, for sure.

Harper only ducked because he knows that Cukier has allies in the MSM. Not surprising, since she has a Ph.D. in Propaganda..... I mean, Information and Technology Management. It's the media blather he fears...definitely.

I would be seriously concerned to ever find Stockwell Day 'on my side'.
