Default Sibbals Range (Homestead) Update

From The Alberta Rifle Association web site

The Homestead Shooting Centre is now Re-Opened.
The Homestead road is accessible but we ask the public to exercise caution and slow down as Alberta Transportation is continuing to work on the road but it should not impede traffic to the ranges!

Thanks
Tim

Probably sounds like a war zone out there. Alot of pent up shooting to be done.

Thank-you for the update.

I was out there last week. The road is rough and they were grading it. You definately dont want to take a car down there. Also, the main road has just recently been oiled so its still pretty gross.

Even with the road fixed, I've not heard great things about this range.

90% of the people I have met there have been great. They are polite, courteous and clean up after themselves.

The others abuse it and leave their shot up junk all over. It is a bit of an eyesore for sure and an embarrasment for the shooting community. IMO
It is in dire need of some TLC.
